Why is FORTNITE so popular

FORTNITE is currently one of the most popular games in the world. Since its release in mid 2017 FORTNITE has reached crazy numbers and racked up over 1.8 billion US dollars in that year alone. But what makes it so popular? Well the main reason I started playing, way back in season 3 was because of how many of my friends started playing it. The game had a buzz that attracted millions and millions of people and I was one of them. Although many people have moved on from the game what makes me and the rest of its player base keep battling for that victory royale. Well I can only speak for myself so these are the things I love about FORTNITE. Firstly the cosmetics. Now as a season 3 player I have come to acquire a lot of cosmetics. I also bought quite a few skins, gliders and pickaxes. So I enjoy showing off my locker items in games. FORTNITE is a lot more than just cosmetic items though. Landing a 200 meter headshot snipe is one of the most satisfying things ever. So is skilfully building and editing to highground, just to one pump an enemy. But most of all coming out number 1 in the 100 player battle royale. Winning this title means you're the best out of 100 players. You have just beaten 99 people all around the world, and it feels pretty good. My favourite thing to do however is to jump into a duos match with a friend and compete to see who can get the most kills.

Those things are just what I enjoy about the game. Everyone is different and there are really hundreds of things that make FORTNITE a great, no amazing game. So I strongly recommend you try it, and it's free what is there to lose?
